African Christian Fellowship (University of Oklahoma Student Chapter) is affiliated with African Christian Fellowship USA. This student chapter was founded by Mr. Kehinde Adesina in 1997/98 when he was a student at the university. Uncle Kenny - as he is fondly called; was given the vision by God for a student fellowship on the University of Oklahoma Campus. It initially started with a few parents and graduate students, and eventually blossomed into what we have today.

I am a graduate student of Petroleum Engineering and a Nigerian by citizenship. I came into the University of Oklahoma and the African Christian Fellowship in the fall semester of 2009. The love, warmth and enthusiasm for God that exuded from the members of the fellowship made ACF my home. Mary Ahonsi is an accounting junior with a management minor from Nigeria. She joined ACF because she enjoys fellowshipping with fellow Christians. Mary’s passion for ACF has led her to be the secretary of the fellowship. A staunch contributor (both in word and deed) to the general welfare of ACF (OU), She can be described as selfless, gentle and peace loving. I am an Economics Senior in the College of Arts and Sciences. My family resides in Lagos but i'm from Ile Ife, Osun State. My hobbies include watching and playing soccer, music and watching funny tv and movies. I have been an active ACF member since 2006 and have not regretted it at anytime. I am a Petroleum Engineering graduate student from Nigeria, graduating in May 2011. I have been a member of ACF since my very first semester at OU in 2002 (a very long time ago). ACF is a great place to build a solid foundation in Christ and also establish rewarding, long lasting relationships with people who truly love God. I realized how important this opportunity God has blessed us with is, when I left OU for 3 years and I am glad I have been given a chance to serve this time around. I enjoy spending time with loved ones, traveling, trying different cuisines, cooking, planning events and interior decor. Always remember, absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. Lanke Dayo-Adepoju is a Computer Engineering Junior from Nigeria. She is the second out of three children and the only girl :-). Ibukun; A Christian, born September 23, a native of Ondo state, a graduate student of Petroleum engineering with a Chemical Engineering background, I love to sing, cook, play soccer, I also like travelling, meeting people and to the glory of God, I would say I am multi-talented, could do just about anything I set my heart to do., my motto: With God ALL things are possible. We are very thankful to God for our choir members. “Living Sacrifices” as they are called, are a group of individuals who love to minister through music of various genre. From Contemporary Praise to African Praise and Worship, we glorify God with all reverence and humility. The choir usually goes on ministration trips to other Churches and fellowships, ministering in songs, dance and drama. Singers and instrumentalists usually meet for practice on Thursdays at 9pm. These are a fun loving group of individuals who minister the Word through choreography and drama. They, like the choir, occasionally go to other ministries to minister through "high-energy" choreographed dances and drama. They usually meet on Tuesdays at 9pm to practice. As the name implies, this group is defined by their passion and driven by their concern for others. It is a fast growing group of individuals who take time out to serve and meet the needs of others. They are usually in charge of our community service events, checking up on members and seeing to the needs of those who need help. This is a very important group. They are in charge of all the Hardware and Software that has to do with ACF. They make sure all the musical instruments and equipment are set up on time and run a sound check on all the instruments before all ACF programs. They also operate our projectors, video cameras, and website. ACF technical group also ensures the safe return of all equipment to their storage point. This is a group of talented artists and writers who are in charge of our bi-weekly publication called “In Touch.” They usually design, write content and publish the Bulletin. They also welcome essays, poems, cartoons, and all other forms of uplifting material that can be published, from members of the organization and beyond. The Expressions group meets every week. The Bible tells us in James 5 v 19 that: "The effective, fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much". The prayer group is the one group that anyone and everyone is expected to join. Just as the name implies, we gather for an hour of personal and corporate prayer. It is also a great time of sharing and bonding, as we walk together on the narrow path of righteousness towards salvation. Prayer meetings are usually held Monday nights at 9pm.
