RaiseMe

Through RaiseMe, eligible high school students can earn micro-scholarships for good grades and a good GPA, community involvement and leadership roles. Students with a minimum GPA of 3.5 can start earning micro-scholarships as early as their freshman year of high school. These micro-scholarships represent the minimum scholarship amount promised from OU. To learn more, scroll below to see a list of frequently asked questions, or begin now by creating your RaiseMe profile. Students must follow OU, complete their profile on RaiseMe, and apply to OU by December 15 of their senior year.

Yes. RaiseMe is entirely free for high school students. The cost of the program is paid by charitable foundations, colleges, and other funders. To sign up, students go online www.raise.me/join/oklahoma and create an account.

Yes! We partnered with RaiseMe to allow you to earn scholarships to the University of Oklahoma earlier in high school and help you see how you can be a competitive candidate at OU. When OU awards student scholarships on RaiseMe, we are guaranteeing these scholarships will be included in your financial aid package after you are admitted. This number represents the minimum scholarship amount promised from OU and does not stack with other OU merit-based awards. If you receive a larger scholarship based upon other factors (like your final college application and FAFSA) through the admission application process, then that package will include, and not be in addition to, the amount that you have earned on RaiseMe.

Students who are in grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 in the United States can use RaiseMe right now. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to earn micro-scholarships on RaiseMe.

No. Micro-scholarships are not transferrable between different colleges. You can only use the scholarships that you earn from one school towards the cost of attending that same college — not to any other school.

The final total of scholarships earned on RaiseMe represent a guaranteed minimum amount of scholarship or grant aid you will receive in your financial aid package to attend OU. If you receive a larger scholarship based upon other factors (like your final college application and FAFSA) through the admission application process, then that package will include, and not be in addition to, the amount that you have earned on RaiseMe.
