Norman campus programs

Undergraduate Admission - U.S. citizens/permanent residents

  • Freshman - high school graduates with fewer than seven college hours AFTER high school graduation
  • Concurrent High School Enrollment - concurrent enrollment at OU while in high school
  • Transfer - high school graduates with seven or more college hours after high school graduation
  • Readmission - former OU students who have not attended OU for more than one semester and a summer session

Graduate Admission - U.S. citizens/permanent residents

Non-Degree Admission - U.S. citizens/permanent residents

  • Visiting Student - graduate students in good academic standing at other accredited institutions wishing to take courses at OU
  • Unclassified Graduate Student - students holding a Baccalaureate degree who wish to take graduate-level courses without pursuing a graduate degree
  • Post-Baccalaureate Non-Degree - students holding at least a Baccalaureate degree who wish to take undergraduate courses without pursuing a degree, including students who wish to take undergraduate prerequisite courses for medical, dental, optometry, or veterinary schools. Students who wish to take graduate level courses without pursuing a degree should apply as an Unclassified Graduate Student.
  • Undergraduate Visitor/Special Student - non-degree, visiting students
