Anna and Maddie's moms are "pretty creative," so the roommates provided input and their moms went from there. Initially the duo wanted a pink palette, but they ended up changing last minute to yellow and grey to complement the wall color.
Anna and Maddie's desks are where they did their "own thing" in the room. Both said adding pictures of their family and friends was important to them.
A sentimental piece on Anna's desk is her globe, which has pins marking places she has been or lived. The pink pins represent her family living in Paris; Scotland; and Alberta, Canada.
