- OU Students: 2.0 GPA (COMB and OU)
- Transfer Students: fewer than 60 hours 2.5 GPA; 60 or more hours 2.0 GPA
Additional Requirements
- Current OU students who meet the admission requirements may declare a major in this college through the front desk personnel in the College of Arts and Sciences at any time during the semester or by calling 405-325-4411.
- Note: Beginning the 11th week of the semester, a change in major will be reflected on a student's transcript for the following semester. Some Colleges may wait until the end of the semester to review a student's final grades before approving/processing a major change.

A. You will be assigned an advisor through the department of your declared major.
Q. When should I be advised?
A. Students are required to be advised prior to each enrollment period.
Students new to the College who have transfer credits should meet with an academic advisor for an evaluation of credits for University and College requirements.
Students may view their academic requirements and progress with Degree Navigator. Degree Navigator is helpful for viewing courses completed toward graduation and courses remaining to be completed. Students and advisors use this information in planning for enrollment. Degree Navigator should be used in conjunction with the degree requirement sheet (checksheet), as the checksheet is the definitive document used for graduation clearance.
