Advising for Spring

Appointments can be made up to 2 weeks in advance at iadvise.ou.edu

 

If no appointments show available, then it is full up to 2 weeks.  Keep checking early each morning for a new set of appointments.

 

There are possibilities of walk-in appointments if there are any no-shows.  Check about this at the front desk of UC.

 

You can be advised anytime before you enrollment window opens on Ozone.ou.edu.

Ozone

There is a new site for students to enroll—Ozone.ou.edu.  Be sure and look at this site, so you will be familiar how to enroll before your window opens.

 

For the time being, students can still access enroll.ou.edu to look at spring classes, set-up a trial schedule, and power search.  However, nothing will transfer over to Ozone. 

 

Stops and holds will not be removed in enroll.ou.edu—

only in Ozone. 

Dates and Deadlines

 

Nov 2 - Dec 11:  Students must petition Dean to drop a course

 

If you petition, you must have extenuating circumstances beyond your control and provide documentation to be approved.  You can pick up information about petitioning at the front desk of University College.  It will not be approved if you are just making a low grade in the course.

 

December 11:  Last day to completely withdraw from all courses

If you are interested in taking a specialized topic course, then check out the Freshman Seminars in spring.  These are a 2-hour, letter graded elective course.  Below the topics:

Action Tutoring

Free tutoring on a walk-in basis in: Math, Sciences, Languages, Economics, Accounting, and several other subjects.  Check out the schedule to see if there is tutoring for your particular class.

Check out the special sessions on reading efficiency, note-taking, and memorization study tips for courses like:

HIST 1483/1493, P SC 1113, PHIL 1013 and more

 

Do not wait until to start utilizing tutoring for reinforcement, accountability, and staying on top!

OUHSC First Fridays

Question about prerequisites, program details, or admissions requirements for the OU Health Sciences Center?

Meet with HSC representatives every first Friday of the month – no appointment necessary.

 

Come to Room 145 of Lissa and Cy Wagner Hall
from
1-3 PM on the first Friday of the month on a walk-in basis: November 6-This Friday! & December 4

 

Meet with HSC representatives from each of the colleges:

Strategies for Success

If you will have under a 2.0 GPA after the fall semester, you will be required to enroll in Strategies for Success (UCOL 2002) in the spring.

This courses is designed to assist student to become successful for the future.

Flu Hotline
