Scholarship
Scholarship applications are now available for Spring 2012.

The
Alpha Lambda Delta Sophomore Scholarship is open to students who:
- Student must be a sophomore (2nd year) OU
student and member of the OU Chapter of ALD
- Student must have a minimum of 36
letter-graded credit hours at the beginning of the spring semester.
- Student must have at least a 3.5 cumulative
OUGPA with no grades of D, F, U, or N.
- Student must list involvement, achievements,
and community service so far at OU, and submit a 100-word essay on how
the scholarship would be of benefit.
- Student must submit a recommendation letter
from an OU faculty member or administrator.
- Student must submit a current official OU
transcript.
- Student must perform at least 5 hours of
service with ALD. Please submit a list of service activities for
verification purposes.
The Alpha Lambda
Delta Junior Scholarship is open to students who:
- Student must be a junior (3rd year) OU student
and member of the OU Chapter of ALD
- Student must have a minimum of 60
letter-graded credit hours as of 1/1/12.
- Student must have at least a 3.5 cumulative
OUGPA with no grades of D, F, U, or N.
- Student
must submit a 200-word essay on how ALD has influenced your college
experience and how you have personally contributed to ALD.
- Student must submit a recommendation letter
from an OU faculty member or administrator.
- Student must submit a current official OU
transcript and resume.
- Student
must have earned at least 10 service points and attended 2 ALD service
events. Please submit a list of service activities for
verification purposes.
- Student must submit all the application papers in a sealed folder or envelope marked with their full name and OU ID number.
National Alpha Lambda Delta Scholarships:
- Jo Anne J. Trow Scholarships
- Students must have been initiated between January 1, &
December 31, 2011 to be eligible.
- Student must submit two letters of recommendation.
- Student must submit a current official OU transcripts as
well as transcripts from any additional colleges or universities
attended.
- Student must submit a 250-word essay describing the value
of ALD to undergraduate education.
- All materials are to be submitted to Wagner Hall, Room 173.
