Please note: Fall Initiation will be on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, in the Heritage Room, Oklahoma Memorial Union. Check-in will be at 7:00 A.M.

Download and complete a membership application form and the hometown news release form. Forms must be typed. Attach an official copy of your OU transcript. Lifetime dues, including national and local dues, are $45, payable at the time of application by check, money order, or exact cash.

Applications will be accepted at Wagner Hall Room 175, until 12:00 P.M, September 15, 2009.

Attendance at the initiation ceremony is mandatory. The ceremony will be held at 7:00 am on September 22, 2009, in the Heritage Room, OMU.

Membership

Alpha Lambda Delta membership is open to new freshman students who:

Complete a minimum of 12 letter graded hours during their first fall semester at OU
Have at least a 3.5 fall OU GPA
Have no grades of D, F, I, N or U for fall semester
Complete a membership application form by the posted deadline date
Pay the required national and local dues by the posted deadline date.

* Spring membership is based on the above criteria. Spring initiation is typically held on Mom's Day weekend.

Freshmen who do not meet the qualifications for spring initiation based on fall criteria may be eligible for late August initiation if the following criteria are satisfied at the end of the OU spring term:

A minimum of 24 letter-graded hours when fall and spring credits are combined
Have at least a 3.5 OUGPA when fall and spring credits are combined
Have no D, F, I, N or U grades for both fall and spring grades
Complete a membership application form by the posted deadline date
Pay the required national and local dues by the posted deadline date.

*August initiation will be scheduled during the first full week of classes each fall term.
