A Musical Treasure: M. P. Möller Opus 5819

Simply put, this organ is one of the greatest musical instruments ever created.  The American Organ Institute, and thus the University of Oklahoma, is heir to a musical legacy of inestimable value.  It is an appropriate and enviable centerpiece for a world–class program of organ instruction and is highly deserving of a careful and historically informed restoration.”

(Excerpt from a survey report of Opus 5819's pipework and mechanisms completed by Jeff Weiler of Jeff Weiler and Associates of Chicago, Ill., noted pipe organ historian, editor of The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ: An Illustrated History, and restorer and technician for many notable municipal and concert organs, including the organ at Chicago Symphony Hall.)
