Mildred Andrews Boggess - A Centennial Celebration

In her day, she became one of the most renowned organ pedagogues in America. This year marks her centenary. Join friends, former students, renowned artists, and current students and faculty for a celebration and examination of her life, her art, and her legacy. There will be memories, discussion, reflection and joy. Please plan to be with us for this special event.

Tickets are $9/5 when purchased by phone (405.325-4101) or in person during normal business hours. At the door, tickets will be $10.

Friday, Sept. 25
Noon Lunch at La Baguette Bistro, 1130 Rambling Oaks Drive, just west of the I-35/Robinson Street interchange. A map is here
2:00 p.m. Tour the AOI Shop, 2101 West Tecumseh Road, Suite C. A map is here.
3:00 p.m. Visit the grave of Miss Andrews, IOOF Cemetery, for a brief service of remembrance and wreath-laying. A map is here.
5:30 p.m. Cocktails followed by dinner in the Scholars Room 3rd floor, north end) of the Student Union. A map is here. (Note: You may park in the Union Parking garage, or you may park in the Catlett Music Center parking garage. Either way, chauffeured golf carts will shuttle you between venues.)
7:30 p.m. Leave Union for Catlett Music Center. A map of its location is here.
8:00 p.m. Faculty Showcase Concert in Gothic Hall.
9:30 p.m. Reception for registered or invited guests on the Stage of Sharp Concert Hall in Catlett Music Center.

A "Pipedreams Live!" event, in conjunction with Michael Barone, host of the syndicated program "Pipedreams" from Minnesota Public Radio.

In addition to improvisation, John Schwandt will be collaborating with Damin Spritzer, Adam Pajan, the Faculty Brass Quintet, Stephen Beus, Jonathan Nichol, and Andrew Richardson.

$9 adults - $5 ou Students, Faculty/Staff, Senior Adults - $10 at the door

Elliot Ringwald will present a Senior Recital in partial completion of his bachelor of music degree in organ performance. The recital will begin in Sharp Hall and end in Gothic Hall.
