Administrative Staff Council

All members are welcome to attend our meetings on the second Tuesday of each month, September through June, at 10:30 AM.

The Administrative Staff Council serves as a representative body for its members; encourages increased cooperation and communication among all employees of the university, and greater participation by member employees in the University community; it functions as a consultative organization for University administrative officials and any University committees on policies, problems, affairs, or any matter related to or having an effect on member employees; initiates studies and make recommendations for consideration by the University administration acting ordinarily through Staff Senate, and provides a forum for the continuing review of University policies acting ordinarily through Staff Senate.

What We Do

Our goal for ASC is to bring staff members together to address relevant and important issues. We also plan and coordinate the Staff Week picnic in the spring. Officially, ASC is available to make recommendations to University departments and also acts as a voting member of the Staff Senate. We continuously review polices and work to ensure our members are well informed.
