| Club History
The
Sooner Badminton Club, founded in the late 1980s, is a registered student organization located on the main campus of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. The Club has approximately 40-60 regular members each year. Its membership includes undergraduate and graduate students, staff and professionals, professors, administrators, and alumni on the OU campus as well as enthusiastic players from outside the OU community. The Club welcomes anyone interested in learning about and promoting the sport of badminton (an Olympic
sport since the 1992 Barcelona Games). Our club is a member of the OU Sports Council.

Practice/Membership Info
The Sooner Badminton Club holds normal practices in the Huston Huffman Center all year round (see a view of our courts). Badminton courts
are set up and available everyday.
All currently registered students can enter the gym at no charge. However, OU alumni, faculty, and staff are required to pay
a guest fee of $5.40 each time they want to enter the gym or in the alternative they can purchase an individual
or family unlimited-entry membership plan. The general public will be allowed into
the gym for the same guest fee, provided they are accompanied by
a registered OU student, alumni, staff, or faculty. Here is a map of OU (look for the Huston Huffman Building, just south of the OU football stadium) and information about parking on campus.
