Goals: There are many different reasons why students enroll in this course. Some people have goals related to graduation requirements, or they are interested in taking an online course, or they have a specific interest in the subject matter of the course - or sometimes, all of the above!

Here are my main goals as the instructor for this course:

To share my love of biology with everybody in the class.
To encourage everybody in the class to learn about biology by writing with imagination.
To explore the Internet and keep finding new science-related resources online.
To teach computer skills so that everybody can use them with confidence.

What are your goals for this course?

Please indicate your understanding of the following class policies and procedures by CHECKING each box:

	I will check my OU email at least once per day, Monday through Friday.
	I will be prepared to spend 6-9 hours each week on the work for this class.
	I understand that my gradebook declarations at Desire2Learn are governed by a strict Honor Code.
