Career Services offers complimentary services for all OU alumni. Basic services include:

HireSOONER Online Job Boards

Students and alumni have free access as a guest to three online job boards in HIRESOONER:

  • HIRESOONER Online Job Board
  • MonsterTrak
  • Experience

All three job boards contain current full time and internship job openings. New listings are added daily.

HireSOONER Alumni Online Job Board

HIRESOONERALUMNI is brought to you by the OU Alumni Association and OU Career Services. This free service allows Alumni employers and Alumni to post jobs and search for jobs connecting with thousands of opportunities that are available within the network. Login to HIRESOONERALUMNI.

Username: OU plus your 6 digit OU Alumni Membership ID number (include leading zeros)

Password: sooners

NOTE: If you do not have an OU Alumni Membership, please email the OU Alumni Association or call (405) 325-1710 to retrieve an ID number.

Individual Assistance

An important step in your preparation for a job search is to develop a strategy. The job search is a process that needs careful planning, organizing, and execution.

Career Services staff members can provide you with information and assistance in clarifying objectives, establishing goals, applying to graduate school, and exploring employment possibilities. Visit the office during the scheduled Walk-In hours or schedule an appointment as needed.

Walk-in hours are listed on the Career Services Calendar.

Career Fairs

Career Services hosts or co-hosts a variety of career fairs, bringing employer representatives to campus to provide information and answer questions about their industries, organizations, and employment opportunities. Career Fairs are open to all students and alumni.

Career Library

If you are in the greater Oklahoma City area, visit our Career Library, which contains a collection of employer literature and occupational materials and is open for browsing between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
