Career Fairs

To connect students with employers who are committed to hiring from the University of Oklahoma for full-time and internship positions, the Career Center hosts or co-hosts a variety of career fairs bringing employer representatives to campus to provide information and answer questions about their industries, organizations, and employment opportunities.

Log in to Handshake for information on times, locations and a list of attending organizations. Interviews for full-time positions and internships are often held the day after the career fair.

The OU Spring Career Fair brings together all students, all majors, and all colleges to introduce a wide variety of organizations interested in hiring for full-time and internship positions. It is also a great event for undergraduates to network and develop contacts for future employment opportunities.

The Design and Construction Career and Internship Fair is an excellent opportunity for Design and Construction Science students at all levels to meet and be interviewed by prospective employers. These fairs attract dozens of companies seeking permanent employees as well as paid internships and are held every spring and fall.

The Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences Career Fair introduces students to organizations interested in hiring for full-time and internship positions in the AGS field.

If you are a Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education student and wish to teach in a premier school district, the OU Teacher Job Fair is a great event to attend. Attracting organizations locally and across the nation, representatives will be present to give up-to-date information about application and hiring procedures. It is also a great event for undergraduates to network and develop contacts for future employment opportunities.

The Sooner Showcase Job & Internship Fair is the largest recruiting event at OU and the ideal place for students to learn about internships and full-time job opportunities. Get an early start for summer and post-graduation employment while networking with any of the over 140 organizations that will attend! The career fair is free and open to all OU students and alumni. Freshmen and Sophomores are encouraged to attend.

The OU Aviation Department offers 4 different Bachelor of Science degrees with concentrations in Professional Pilot, Aviation Management Flying, Aviation Management Non-Flying, and Air Traffic Management (AT-CTI approved). All four degree concentrations are fully accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) and are business-focused to prepare students to function efficiently in the world of aviation.
