Lisa StambeckLisa, a native of Shawnee, Oklahoma has been employed by the University of Oklahoma since 1977 and has been the Survey's secretary since 1991. Lisa received a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 1992 and a Master's degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 1996. Lisa is the first person callers or visitors meet, and is always happy to assist citizens by answering questions, mailing information or referring them to an archeologist. She is responsible for keeping track of the approximately 6000 projects annually reviewed by the Survey's Community Assistance Program. Lisa helps coordinate the Survey's public out-reach efforts such as the annual booth at the Oklahoma State Fair and the scheduling of archaeologists to speak to schools and civic groups state-wide. Lisa is also responsible for maintaining the Survey's research library. Lisa truly enjoys the diversity and challenges of her responsibilities at the Survey. |
