New Microbiology Faculty Member!

Our newest Assistant Professor is Dr. Boris Wawrik who works at a meta-genomic level in the areas of Marine and Soil Microbial Ecology. In particular, his lab targets critical genes involved in biogeochemical cycling of carbon and nitrogen metabolism, as well those linked to important secondary metabolites.
