I neither work in nor am a student of Botany-just a dedicated layperson-and simply wanted to let you know that an ordinary person found your resources (and concise layout) wonderful! Thanks very much --best of luck to you!

I would just like to say that your site SUCKS. Is it just me or does America act like their the ONLY FREAKING country worth getting a mention?! I tried my hard looking for info on AUSTRALIAN plants - but found none at all. I happen to know that the family Proteaceae is the most widely distributed plant in the southern hemisphere, yet no INFO. I am disgusted and outraged.

I found your site by adding "Prairie" to www.searchedu.com I am planning to turn our families old Montana Homestead into a Prairie Research station. We have done nothing with the 320 acres since 1930. Luckly its was never plowed or planted with wheat, which dominates the area. Only problem is to keep the area ranches cattle off ~ To allow the prairie remnant to grow ~ FLOWER ~ and seed.

I am presently doing case study research on a site similar to this site. A major problem I'm having is -- what do you call it? Is this a "webliography"? Is it a "guide"? Is it something else I don't yet have a word for yet? Librarians have been very helpful explaining that it really isn't an index or catalog. The best word we have come up with is selective annotative bibliography on the web. I would really appreciate some help with this matter. btw, I am a geography secondary educator and really appreciate that you have made this available. Thanks for caring enough about kids and teachers for putting in all your time and effort.

Dear Scott, I am so late and have to pick my upcoming classes. I am majoring in biological sciences. This is a great and VERY helpful sight. I could easily find exactly what I wanted.

Hello Scott, We are researching the sites related to ecosystem databases, and especially the Pacific Northwest region. In the future, my partner and I hope to have collected enough information on this region to post a site. Our goal is to provide a database of the PNW coastal ecosystem for the use of persons so interested in this region. Having found your site, we see how and why such services can be used. Hopefully, we will find our site on yours. Sincerely, August Wright

Scot, through your use of the net shows the whole world how wonderful the net can be. I have been involved with community forestry for the last 38 years, you have put at my finger tips so much info, that it brings all the people since man first thought about a tree back to our wonderful earth. People who want to leave because they have nothing to do ought to start studying trees, I promise they will have plenty to keep busy with. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Congratulations on your terrific site! I am a plant biologist working on cutting propagation in a forest nursery. We have had an Internet access for only 2 months. Visiting your site has become almost a daily habit, as it allows me to find useful and educational resources that are very valuable to my work. Keep up the great work!
