> Dear visitors: > I put up this automated message system to stimulate discussion from users of this site and to allow announcements about botanical messages of interest to be posted. This utility does use HTML symbols, so you can post fancy messages even if you don't know that much HTML. > It is also possible to put up a link site and a photo to accompany your message. For example, I put a picture of myself from my own website, and put up a link to my home department faculty research page. The only caution I have is to put the full URL and if you are in doubt, copy it from the page, using your mouse and the copy and paste commands for your particular computer. > What is the limit to the size of the message? There is no real limit. The program will process about as much as you wish to send. > The most important part is to have fun with this and hopefully get some occasional plant pictures and some discussion started. ONE OTHER NOTE: When you send this message, you will return to this same page and you might not see your message. If this is the case, RELOAD the page using your Reload button on Netscape or the Refresh button on Internet Explorer. > Let me know what you think!!! -Scott Dear Scott This is a brilliant idea! I am seriously interested in the ideas currently being thought by the very best brains in the world, and your Message Board has made this possible. Thank you ever so much. I will post a picture and more details of my projects in the field of botanical research as soon as I learn how to. Best wishes Ryszard |
