hi, i'm doing a science project using gibberlic acid. we diluted the soltion with water, and the plant is almost dead, we were wondering why the plant is dying. Since i thought that gibberlic acid was supposed to help the plant live.
Thank you

Hi Catherine:

I sounds like there are a lot more problems than just the gibberelin. If the plant is already sick, or
the gibberlic acid is too concentrated, you might find this result. As with almost any fertilization
of the soil, it should be done sparingly as the plant takes up the material osmotically (accompanying
water) not eating it. The concentration of the fertilizer or gibberelic acid should never exceed the
recommendations of the manufacturer.

Good luck! -SR
