Sex expression in castor bean

Castor, a sexual polymorphic species has different forms of sex expression like - stable pistillate, monoecious, unstable pistillate. Unstable pistillate forms are either sex revertants which is a permanent form while interspersed staminate flower expression is environmentally sensitive. What triggers a pistillate to become a monoecious genetically?
