What is Graduate Student Research Fellows Program?

The Graduate Student Research Fellows (GSRF) program is coordinated by the Women’s and Gender Studies Center for Social Justice as a service to the University of Oklahoma graduate community. The GSRF aims to facilitate networking and interdisciplinary collaboration and support multidisciplinary approaches to social justice research. Participants in the program will benefit from many things, including: 

  • constructive feedback on their research
  • mentorship opportunities 
  • meetings and discussions with campus leaders 
  • professional training and guidance 
  • mock interviews and job talks 
  • readings related to the university experience

Participants meet once a month in the evening during the academic year and attendance is required.

How to Apply

Applications are being accepted for the 2024-2025 GSRF program. 

To apply, you will need to upload a CV and a statement of research interests and how they relate to social justice issues. Click here to begin your application.

You will also need a letter of endorsement from a professor with whom you have worked or a departmental graduate liaison. Please inform your faculty recommender of the deadline, and request that they upload their endorsement letter here.

The application deadline for the 2024-2025 GSRF Program is September 30, 2024.
