Undergraduate Communication Association

The Department of Communication at the University of Oklahoma is pleased to announce the development of the Undergraduate Communication Association (UCA). This organization is open to all majors in Communication. The application is open to all Communication majors who are incoming freshman, entering transfer and continuing undergraduate students. Applications are effective January 1, 2008 and will be considered throughout the Spring of 2008 until the end of Summer 2008 for the 2008-2009 Academic Year. Officer(s) elections will take place in the Spring of 2008.

As a UCA member you will receive instant email notification of available scholarships through the University of Oklahoma’s College of Arts and Sciences, as well as private corporations.

Everyone knows internships can only enhance a college degree. Your UCA membership entitles you to receive instant email notification of available internships through out the academic year.

Membership in UCA is designed to enhance your academic degree by providing a platform for networking among other scholars in your chosen field. In addition, UCA allows an opportunity for active student involvement within the University of Oklahoma’s Department of Communication.

Keep In Mind
Formal meetings and officer elections will begin in Spring of 2008. Now is the time to decide if you are interested in taking on a leadership role within the organization.
