| Sandy Tarabochia is the
Co-Director of the First-Year Composition
Program and teaches courses in writing,
rhetoric, and literacy. Her research
focuses on cross-curricular literacy
initiatives in the fields of Writing
Across the Curriculum and Writing in the
Disciplines. In particular, she studies
the challenge of building
cross-disciplinary relationships amoung
writing specialists and faculty in other
disciplines who collaborate to teach
writing. Her review of Julie Jung's Revisionary
Rhetoric, Feminist Pedagogy, and
Multigenre Texts entitled "Mining
the Gaps: Toward a Theory of Multigenre
Writing and Pedagogy” appeared in the
journal Pedagogy: Critical Approaches
to Teaching Literature, Language,
Composition and Culture and her
article “Knowledge in Conversation:
Negotiating Expertise in Cross-Curricular
Literacy Relationships” is under review
with the journal Writing Program
