M.A. Program Credit Hours/Transfer Credit A student in the M.A. degree program may transfer a maximum of 6 credit hours for coursework done at other institutions. These transfer credit hours must be approved by the student's Adviser as well as the Director of Graduate Studies. Any plan of study approved for an M.A. student requires a minimum of 33 credit hours beyond the completion of the baccalaureate degree. Literary
