The Department of History at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for the Julian J. Rothbaum Professorship in Modern American History.

The holder of the professorship will be a tenured member of the History department and will be appointed at the rank of associate or full professor. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in history and have a strong record of research and publication. Candidates' current research may be in any area of twentieth-century American history that focuses on the years after 1915. Successful applicants must give evidence of a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. Advanced associate professors as well as current full professors are encouraged to apply.
