Professor Zwink is the author of a number of articles,
book reviews, and encyclopedia entries on nineteenth
and twentieth century U.S. history topics. His articles
are published in journals such as the Chronicles
of Oklahoma and the Kansas Historical Quarterly.
He co-authored The Flying Farmer Organization: First
in Oklahoma and Ranchlands to Railroads: An
Illustrated Sketch of M County’s Pre-territorial
History and co-edited Oklahoma County Courthouses.
He also wrote a chapter on Fort Sill for Early Military
Forts and Posts in Oklahoma. Zwink’s research
includes the study of German POW camps in Oklahoma and
their impact on the home front in the United States
during World War II. Professor Zwink’s classes
include U.S. Diplomatic History and World War II. He
received his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University.
