Cynthia George received her B.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Oklahoma, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in the same field from the University of Texas at Austin.  After completing her doctoral degree, she taught undergraduate communication classes for seven years before returning to the television industry.   In 2008 she won two Telly Awards for excellence in non-network video production.  She currently works as a corporate video producer/director/writer.  As a part-time student she is pursuing a Master’s degree, studying the 19th century ballroom.
