Melanie Lewey received her B.M.A in oboe performance and religious studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 and is now at work on her M.A. in the field of Judaic history.  She is studying under Prof. Norman Stillman, focusing on American Jewish social history.  Once her M.A. is completed, she hopes to build on this subject as she pursues her Ph.D. in Judaic history.
