| Dustin Mack |
Dustin Mack received his B.A. in history from the University of Iowa in 2006 and earned his M.A. in history at Ball State University in 2010. His M.A. thesis titled “Cooperation and Confederacy: A Comparison of Indigenous Confederacies in Relation to Imperial Polities” explored how the flexible nature of the Mongol and Iroquois confederacies enhanced their ability to negotiate with the Ming dynasty and British Empire in the 16th and 17th centuries, respectively. He has presented his scholarship at several conferences including a panel discussion at the Annual Indiana Association of Historians Conference. Mr. Mack is currently a PhD student whose scholarship interests include colonial-era Native Americans in North American frontiers, the American West, and World Systems Theory. |
