Robyn Davis McMillin received her B.A. in French Literature from Columbia University in 1993 and her M.A. in History from the University of Oklahoma in 2001. She is currently ABD, working under the direction of Professor Paul Gilje to complete her dissertation on the cultures of science in America in the 18th century. Her archival research has been funded in part by fellowships from the Huntington Library, the Gilder Lehrman Institute for American History, and the McNeil Center for Early American Studies. She has presented on that research at several academic conferences, including the annual meetings of the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture, and the Society for Historians of the Early American Republic.
