| Rowan Steineker |
| Rowan Steineker received a B.A in History and Sociology/Anthropology from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri in 2009. She is currently working on her M.A. in Western history under the advisement of Dr. Hurtado. Her M.A. thesis focuses on the role of Normal School education in Oklahoma during the late 19th Century. This fall she will present a portion of her research at the Mid-America History Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas. Rowan has served as a teaching assistant and discussion leader for post-1865 U.S. History courses and is currently working as a teaching assistant for Dr. Hurtado’s Early American Frontier class. After completing her M.A., she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Western History. |
