Chelsea Ball Burroughs

Chelsea is a Ph.D. student studying postwar gender and politics with an emphasis on Oklahoma and the West. She graduated with her MA from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 and earned her BA in History Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2014. Her thesis, titled "From Red Dirt to Red State: Oklahoma and the Equal Rights Amendment, 1972-1982" was completed under the direction of Dr. Jennifer Holland.

Chelsea is also interested in public history, and works with the education department at the Oklahoma History Center.
