James Dupree

James Dupree

Jim received his BA in history and Women’s and Gender Studies as well as his MA in history from the University of Oklahoma. He is currently a doctoral candidate in American history, under the direction of Anne Hyde and David Wrobel, focusing on the United States border with Mexico.  His research is primarily concerned with immigration enforcement from 1884 to 1924, before the creation of the U.S. Border Patrol.
