Chan M. Hellman is an associate
professor and assistant
chair in the Department of Human Relations at the University
of Oklahoma. He received a B.S. in
Psychology from Northwestern
Oklahoma State
University
in 1988; an M.A. in Experimental Psychology from the University
of Central Oklahoma
in 1994; and a
Ph.D. in Educational Psychology specializing in research, evaluation,
measurement and statistics from Oklahoma
State University
in 2002. Dr.
Hellman is the founder and
director of the OU-Tulsa
Applied Research
Center
providing applied research activities in support of non-profit agency
service
effectiveness. In
2004, Dr. Hellman
received an honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor appointment in the
OU-Tulsa
College of Medicine – Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Hellman’s
research interest is primarily
in research methodology, community agency effectiveness, and social
justice.
