To help ensure a permanent base for Judaic and Israel Studies programming into the furture, we intend to grow the endowed YKS Memorial Lecture fund to a sufficient size to cover the costs of mutliple events every year. This will become known as the Yedida Kalfon Stillman Memorial Event Series.
The study of the American Jewish experience has grown more important than ever. We intend to establish a permanent focus on this topic within the University of Oklahoma through a professorship within the History Department.
As the current global populist wave contines to stoke antisemitism both in the United States and around the world, our goal is to establish the Schusterman Center as a major site for research and education on the topic, and create a professorship within the History Department.
