Where Our Graduates Are Going

We are proud to present our 2020 graduating seniors who have triumphed in the face of change and uncertainty. Here are their plans for where they are going next!

David Golden

I will be commissioning in the OKANG as a Field Artillery Officer. Additionally I have been accepted into OU College of Law, and have deferred a year due to some of my military obligation. I will start law school in the Fall of 2021. On top of all of this, I am happy to say that I will be getting married to my high school sweetheart this next year :-) I am excited for the future and am very grateful for the tools that OU has given me to help me achieve my dreams. Thank you!

After graduation, I will be moving to Los Alamos, New Mexico. There, I will be with the USGS & NPS, carrying out research to compare historical and contemporary wildfire patterns. In my off hours, I'm hoping to retreat into the mountains to accomplish a rare feat in philosophy - finish reading a whole book.

Plans for the near future include graduate school—my first choice is UT Austin—and then I intend on making my way to a PhD program, and eventually professing philosophy.
