djmaletz@ou.eduProfessor Maletz joined the Department of Political Science in 1979. He served as chair of the department from 1988 to 1994.
Publications have appeared in The Journal of Politics, Publius, Polity, The History of Political Thought, Political Theory, The Review of Politics, Interpretation, Administration and Society, The Political Science Reviewer, and other journals.
Current research interests include idealism in politics, ethics in government and in public administration, Tocqueville's analysis of American democracy, and classical political theory.
