RESEARCH INTERESTS
Human memory: in terms of basic research, I am interested in the assessment of dual-processes of memory (familiarity and recollection). In terms of applied research, I study eyewitness memory, specifically the effects of distinctive encoding and lineup presentation.
BIO
I grew up in Omaha, NE (a great place to live, BTW), and escaped (to try something new) to the University of Dallas for the first half of my undergraduate work, then came back to Lincoln, NE (Go Huskers!) at the turn of the millennium for the second half (with a greater concentration on psychology). I graduated from UNL in ’02, and came to do research in cognitive psychology here at OU. I enjoy both the research and the teaching elements of graduate school, and look forward to a post-doc (somewhere!) with emphasis on the former, followed by an eventual professorship (hopefully!) focusing on both facets of academia.
