RESEARCH INTERESTS
My primary interests are Decision Theory and Behavioral Economics. The focus of my research can be separated into three areas: (1) investigate the effects of context on decision making and option evaluation, (2) assess the role of utility in hypothesis generation, evaluation, and search, as well as choice behavior, and (3) work with the Economics Department (Game Theory specifically) to establish an integration between classic economic theories and more behavioral decision making phenomena.
BIO
I was born and raised in Beijing, China and moved to the DC/Maryland area when I was nine years old. After graduating with a BS from the University of Maryland, I moved to New York City to work for Bloomberg LP for two years. The decision to move to the heartlands and come to OU for graduate school was largely due to the quality of research produced by Rick Thomas and the opportunity to work with him. My passions outside of academics include global economic development (sustainable growth), micro-finance (also known as micro-credit or micro-lending), human rights and policy, and philanthropy.
