RESEARCH INTERESTS Cognitive Style (Need for Structure, Need for Cognition, Personal Fear of Invalidity). BIO I was born in Austin, TX, but was raised in Las Vegas. I completed my undergrad degree here at OU, so I’ve been here for quite some time! I’m working on my Ph.D in Social Psychology and would like to stay in academia. I’m a single mom to a wonderful and active 5-year old girl, so I really don’t get much free time! I enjoy scrapbooking, spending time with family and friends, and taking care of our animals (two dogs, a cat, a fish, and a pet rat).
