RESEARCH INTERESTS

My main research focus is on peer relationships which encompasses, but is not limited to, most forms of indirect or social aggression. This type of aggression is typically associated with females; however, I would like to help expand the thinking in this domain to males as well.

BIO

I grew up in a small town northeast of Tulsa, with a younger brother and an older half sister. We raised many animals atypical to a farm that mostly consisted of the local abandoned wildlife surrounding our property. I ran track and played basketball for my high school and then came to OU hoping to find my passion in life. I have since discovered it to be developmental psychology and am now working on my PhD in experimental psychology with an emphasis on developmental psychology. My boyfriend, Austin, and I met in poetry class in the spring of 2003. We live together here in Norman with our cat and dog.
