The School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) offers two graduate degrees, and one undergraduate degree. The Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) and the Master of Science in Knowledge Management (MSKM). The MLIS and MSKM are offered at both the Norman and Tulsa Schusterman campuses and many courses are available online or through flexible scheduling courses (weekends only, or a mix of in-class and online). Please check the individual semester course schedules for information on course offerings. The Bachelor of Arts in Information Studies program is offered on the Norman campus and is currently being implemented as an online degree program.

The School celebrated it 75th anniversary in September of 2004 and is accredited by the American Library Association.

SLIS has 13 full time faculty, in addition to university adjunct faculty. In the Fall of 2006, over 200 student enrolled. In 2006, the school awarded 45 Masters degrees.
