How to Enroll in:

• ZOO 2124 Human Physiology
• ZOO 2255 Human Anatomy
• ZOO 2234 Introduction to Human Anatomy

These courses are restricted to certain majors or pre-certification tracks:

HES Ultrasound Radiation Therapy Pharmacy Nursing Physician Assistant Physical Therapy

Science Education Radiography Nuclear Medicine Nutritional Sciences Dental Hygiene Occupational Therapy

Prerequisite requirements and special permission* are needed for enrollment.

Prerequisites for ZOO 2124:
- Introduction to Zoology (ZOO 1114) and lab (ZOO 1121) with a C or better is required for each of these courses.
- College physics or chemistry

*To get permission for any of these courses, an Electronic Special Permission Request will need to be submitted online at the Zoology Department website.

• If prerequisites have been completed at the time of pre-registration, permission is granted by classification (i.e. most completed credit hours get first priority). Students must then enroll as soon as possible. If the desired course has filled, students must add their name to the official waiting list on Online Enrollment.
• If prerequisites have NOT yet been completed at the time of pre-registration, requests will be rechecked by the Zoology Advising Office as soon as grades for the current semester are posted to verify successful completion of prerequisite requirements.

Online permission then will be given (with an expiration) based first on classification and, second, on date of receipt of request. It is the student’s responsibility to check promptly for online permission and then enroll in the desired course. If the course has filled, students must add their name to the official waiting list on Online Enrollment.

*Reminder: Submission of an Electronic Special Permission Request does NOT guarantee permission to enroll or a spot on the waiting list.
