Applications should be filed with the Chairman of the Graduate Selections Committee as early as possible, preferably by December 15 for admission for Fall semester and October 1 for admission for Spring semester. Most graduate assistantships are awarded for admission during the Fall semester. It is important that all letters or recommendation, transcripts and other items listed on the How to Apply page be received by these dates. Later applications may be considered.

If you leave that page without clicking SUBMIT, the information you enter may not be saved.

1) Please arrange to have a complete official transcript of your college record sent to the Graduate Selections Committee.
2) Please arrange for an official copy of your results on the Graduate Record Examination. institution code for OU = 6879, Departmental code for Biology = 0203. The Advanced Biology GRE is not required, but strongly advised.

4) You must also apply to the Graduate College by submitting a University of Oklahoma Application of Admission. This application can be found online at http://admissions.ou.edu/admissions.htm. Please be aware that there are different versions of the application for U.S. and International students.
