April 9-20 Advanced Registration for Intersession, Summer School and Fall 2002.

April 20 MCAT Spring exam (registration deadline was March 16).

May 3 Final Day of classes.

May 6-10 Spring Semester Final Examination Period.

May 11 Commencement, OU Campus.

May-June Committee Interviews for dental & Early Decision medical students with minimum 7.0 MCAT & 3.0 GPA. April MCAT must have been taken; DAT scores must be available.

June 3 - July 26 Summer Classes begin.

June, July, August PreMed Committee Interviews for Medical/Osteopathic/Podiatric/Dental entering class 2003 applicants. Dates are scheduled only after attending 1 of Applicant Workshops & meet minimum requirements. Early Decision applicants: interview no later than 7/10.

July 12 MCAT Fall exam application deadline; deadline with penalty July 26.

August 17 MCAT Fall exam - Last chance for admission 2003!

	2002 April and/or August MCAT. April test date preferred by most schools and required for students applying for Early Decision Program (EDP).
	Attend Applicant Workshop in March or April. Schedule PreMed or PreDental Committee Interview.
	PreMed Interview available May, June, July, and August. Copies of material distributed at workshop will be needed for the interview & must be at PreMed Advising office at least 1 week prior to interview. EDP applicants need to schedule interviews by July 10. Please remember a min. 3.0 GPA and min. 7.0 MCAT will be required for this Committee interview.
	AMCAS and supplemental deadline for EDP - August 1, 2002 (www.aamc.org/amcas)
	Final notification of status for those who applied for EDP – October 1.
	AMCAS deadline – Oct. 15. File early, preferably before Aug. 15. AMCAS took over 8 weeks to process applications in 2001, especially after August 15. Many out-of-state schools schedule early interviews.
	OU deadline – Nov. 1, for all supplemental materials, including Letters of Recommendation/Evaluation from PreMed Committee and 1 faculty, or 3 faculty letters (we recommend an extra letter, if appropriate.)
	On-site Medical School interviews are scheduled as soon as applicant file is complete, beginning late in November or early December. Interviews are scheduled based on MCAT scores and GPA.

OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine for Fall 2003

	2000 April and/or August MCAT. April test date preferred.
	AACOMAS deadline is November 1. File early since AACOMAS has been known to take as long as 8 weeks to process the application.
	PreMed Committee Interview can be scheduled during the summer. See information above concerning premed committee interviews.(re: Applicant Workshop).
	On-Site Interviews begin in October.
	OSU deadline of December 1 for all supplemental materials including Letters of Recommendation/ Evaluation from the PreMed Committee (or 3 letters of faculty of which at least 2 must be science faculty) and a letter from a D.O.

	Computerized DAT offered throughout the year. Pick up your application early;take test prior to May 1.
	File AADSAS in the summer to qualify for an October interview, beginning July 1. (www.adea.org)
	PreDental committee interviews scheduled early in Summer for those who attended the Applicant Workshop.( see information on PreMed Committee Interviews/Applicant Workshop above)
