Biology Department Retreat

The 2012 Department of Biology retreat will be held from Friday September 28th through Sunday the 30th. The purpose of the retreat this year will be to share research ideas at poster sessions, brainstorm about curriculum innovation in breakout sessions, and enjoy a relaxing weekend on the shores of Lake Texoma. Friday evening, we will gather to socialize after a nice meal at the Station. On Saturday, we will have poster sessions focused on recent research, breakout sessions to discuss curriculum innovation, and time to catch up with colleagues and meet new members of the department. All faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students are welcome and encouraged to participate in these discussions..

Saturday evening will be a fun-packed time with games and diversions. Past activities have included scavenger hunts, leg wrestling, horseshoes, volleyball, etc.
