TPD/TPO/TPR with TCD and FID
This apparatus is utilized for TPR and TPD of NH3. It can also be used for high sensitive TPO by converting CO2 to methane via a small reactor containing Ni/alumina catalyst and monitoring methane by FID detector.

This Mecromeritics ASAP 2000 apparatus is for BET surface area and porosity measurements
TPD/TPO equipped with Mass Spectrometer
Temperature programmed desorption/ Oxidation equipped with Mass Spectrometer is very useful to  characteristic of catalysts e.g. TPD of isopropylamine by following m/e= 41 and17  which provides acidity and acid stregth of the catalyst. It can also used for analysis of coke formation by TPO techniques by following m/e = 44.  This system can also be used for chemisorption of CO.

FTIR
The Fourier Transform MIR-NIR-Vis Spectroscopy (Bruker Equinox 55) is used to study surface of catalyst. FTIR equipped with a diffuse reflectance cell allows us to do in-situ pretreatment and analyze adsorbed species on the surface.

XPS
The X-ray photoelectron spectrophotometer is a widely used tool for any kind of quantitative and qualitative surface analysis, because of its relative simplicity in use and data interpretation.
