Letter from the President

The Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Chi Omega and myself extend a warm greeting to you!  Welcome to our site and I hope you will leave with a greater understanding of our organization from background to current day and also looking ahead for the future.

When I arrived at OU as a freshman preparing for rush I had no idea of the lifelong impact this sisterhood would have on me.  Chi Omega is the largest women’s fraternal association in the world, which is impressive and far reaching, as you will undoubtedly continue throughout your life to meet those with whom you share a commonality. However, the close and dedicated bonds I have formed with the group of girls here at the University of Oklahoma are what I hold dear to my heart.  The level of individual and group support you will experience in everything from academics, philanthropic activities, social endeavors and campus pursuits is indeed astounding.

From ensuring our new members experience a smooth transition not only into Greek life, but also the conversion into a rigorous university curriculum we ascertain there is a solid foundation for all to have the tools and support to feel right at home and be successful from day one to graduation and beyond. Academics and lifelong cohesion are a high priority in addition to fun and friendship.  When you join XΩ it is truly just the start of something special!!!
