Our Chapter: Advisors

The Advisory Board is composed of alumnae members of Chi Omega. The purpose of the board is to provide stability and continuity for the active chapter.

The advisors are alumnae who take the time and have the interest necessary to promote the purposes of Chi Omega. Ideally, an advisor is a combination of an understanding friend and a wise and sympathetic counselor with the ability to bring out talents, to give confidence, to foster enthusiasm, to make mature decisions, to recommend options, and to develop positive attitudes of the active chapter.

Each member of the board has specific areas of responsibility. In addition, the board cooperates and consults as a whole in matters pertaining to new member and active meetings, by-laws and policies, Recruitment, Initiation, social affairs, alumnae, faculty, and House Corporation relations.

The Advisory Board guides rather than leads the chapter. We are here for the betterment of Chi Omega and for the welfare of our Epsilon Alpha members.
